Glow Tales: Merge & Makeover

I found the game through Fetch. I like the game, but I agree there are too many ads. Maybe I’ve become a little immune but it doesn’t feel like there are a gazillion ads like other reviews say, but there are a lot. I like the actual game, but I made it through all the characters. Now all I’m doing is merging with very little reward. I hope there’s an update soon. The real reason I’m writing this review is also to let people know there’s a game called Beach Bliss by Kite that’s basically the exact same game as Glow Tales. There are slight differences but the items you merge, the special events, the treasure chests, and even the main character are the same. I honestly thought the makers of Glow Tales decided to make a new game instead of updating the original. Do with this info as you will.

Starting level 15 it’s impossible to move forward without paying at least 10-20 dollars a day. Also the card pack for 500 Stars you need to guarantee at least 1 new card . Basically 500 stars for nothing is ridiculous

The is a game of watching ads. In 15 minutes of playing, you’ll watch 12 minutes of ads and 3 minutes of actual play. Every two minutes an ad plays then every other item out of a generator has a bubble around it to watch to get a free one. Now you don’t have to watch these but you’ll just end up watching ads for more lighting bolts to continue playing. And it wouldn’t be sooo bad if ads weren’t a minute long with 3 x buttons until it closes or freezes cause it times out so you have to restart the app and then you don’t get the item from the ad. Also you will NEVER complete the entire photo albums for the added bonus. I have needed the last 7 cards for the past 6 days. I have gotten over 300 cards but not 1 of the last 7 I need. I have 2 days left now to complete the collections.
