Glimr - Date Fun, Meet Real

This app is truly terrible if I could give it zero stars I would and would definitely not recommend to anyone looking to meet real people. Not only is it full of bots and scammers, even with the so called “verified accounts”, but I suspect the developers themselves are scammers. On multiple occasions the app itself sent messages from my account to other, possibly fake, accounts without my knowledge or consent in order to provoke conversations that never lead to genuine connections, only increasingly expensive paywalls, even for conversations they initiated. Seems like the app itself is one big scam designed to manipulate people out of their hard earned money, at the very least it’s terribly bad business practices, save your time and money for better apps like Tinder or Hinge.

If all you wanna deal with is box and wasting your time, feel free to go on this app unlike another app that uses bots this one doesn’t charge you to talk to the bots and they use the same script. Only reason why I put this is a four star so that it’ll be on their front page.

I paid for a higher tier of access to see likes and visitors, but also to have more than a handful of chats (apparently this is the same as every other dating app, Evan though it gives the impression of being free) was never honored. After a week of back and forth with proof of purchase presented it was never rectified, as the responses had the stink of automated replies rather than a real person. These apps seemed overwhelmingly biased toward the female population. Are there financial incentives involved for the overwhelming number of 20-something “pick me girls”? Hard to respond when everything costs money, including more than a handful of text messages. It’s also nearly impossible to set anything up as far as meetups, as the map feature also - wait for it - costs more money. What a scam!!!!! Don’t waste your time!
