I first came across this app looking for a replacement when the New York Times removed their digits game. This app was pretty much an infinite galore of digits. The only thing is now Iโve played so much, Iโve realized this appโs patterns and itโs very boring. First off, the bank of numbers which they draw from is quite small (about 20 options in the 1-50 range), and I think it would be more of a challenge to get larger prime numbers involved as they are virtually excluded. Also the target number never exceeds 300. And lastly many of the puzzles you can solve by two moves so by spamming options with a little common sense and youโll finish every puzzle in a minute tops. All the puzzles feel very AI generated and it lacks the human design element that made digits a fun challenge. This app is still fun, donโt get me wrong, but it could definitely use some adjustments instead pushing in app purchases down your throat all the time.
I really enjoy the game but it gets old quick. There isnโt enough content to deem it replay-able and I have a few suggestions to help out: 1. Allow players to retry old levels Right now, after you finish a level you canโt access it again. I want to retry old levels that I didnโt get 4 stars on, but I canโt. 2. Stars are completely useless Every level, you collect 1-4 stars depending on how you did. There should be a shop where you can purchase new themes or other things for the game. This would give an incentive to playing the game, and getting 4 stars on every level, bringing up the drive to play the game. 3. No progression Currently, the game is the exact same from the 1st level to the 1000th. All successful games have either a progression system or highscore system. This game currently has neither. You should be able to unlock new operations, and play harder levels as you move on. This would massively help the problem of the game feeling very repetitious. 4. No competitive game modes Like I said earlier, every successful game either has progression or a highscore system. This game would wildly benefit from having a competitive racing mode, contrasting the normal relaxed gameplay. This could work by trying to solve as many problems as possible in 1 minute, or something similar. There could also be leaderboards among other players to bring competition to the game. 5. Not really a problem, but the game would benefit from having a daily puzzle I hope the devs see this and can hopefully implement some of these changes! I get that these are very major changes, but I feel that they would really help drive up the popularity of this game. Itโs a really cool concept, it just needs fine-tuning now.
Digits Math Puzzle - Brain Gym is an addictive and challenging mobile game that is perfect for puzzle enthusiasts and math lovers alike. The game is easy to understand, but it requires strategic thinking and quick arithmetic to master. With a simplistic but challenging gameplay loop, players will be kept entertained for hours. The graphics are clean and colorful, and the game mechanics are smooth and responsive. The sheer wealth of puzzles and procedurally generated numbers keep the gameโs replay value high. While some players may find the gameโs difficulty level to be too high, the gameโs hint system is intuitive and helpful in guiding even the most frustrated player on the right path. Overall, Digits Math Puzzle - Brain Gym is a fun and engaging mobile game that is worth a try for anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding puzzle experience.
