I love the idea, but the instant I started creating a patch I was in over my head (I’m a newbie). It’d be nice if the app had a novice mode that explains everything, even more than the app does already, for those who are completely new to this.
Conceptualizing a food forest patch from scratch can be super challenging. This app makes it simple by suggesting companions for your trees AND telling you how and when to plant them AND providing lots of other resources to help you on the way. The artwork is also lovely and inspiring. Makes me want to head to the nursery ASAP. I look forward to seeing how this app grows and expands!!
I’ve been wondering what fruits would grow well in our area and appreciate finding an app that narrows the wide range of choices down. When I look at the nursery catalogs it all looks and sounds good but know from experience that many do not thrive here in the east even though they are rated for our zone.
