My main passion that I study a lot is cardiology, however I am not a doctor. I have had issues with palpitations in the past and trying to be seen by a condescending cardiologist where I am is insanely difficult. My Frontier X2 has unlocked a door that is mind blowing to me. Being able to monitor my heart on my OWN has been life changing. Of course (thanks to this app) pulling up a live ECG is very impressive to everyone I’ve shown, it is very accurate and useful. I initiated events to record entire workdays and entire nights and the data quality is stellar upon review. I love how quickly it can process 10 hours of data and prepare itself for another session, it’s very efficient. I love the metrics that are calculated for you as well! It’s been very liberating and helped me to reduce my anxiety seeing my heart performing well through all I put it through despite the occasional PVC- which is not concerning to me at this point. This app has allowed me to clearly link it with anxiety. I like being able to mark when I’m stressed or doing different things. The app also works well and hasn’t given me any major issues. The only minor one is needing to be closed and re opened after ending and finishing processing a long activity. If not, the live ECG will not load. This isn’t a complaint though, it’s easy enough to deal with.
I wanted to get an accurate reading on my HRV at night and this is actually two points higher than my Fitbit charged six. Very nice to know. Also I wear it when I’m cycling. My other device just told me what my heart rate was which was on average for an hour and a half ride 145 to 150 for an hour and a half. The frontier device I can leave on and look at it and when I reach to the maximum heart rate zone, I can stay there as long as I want and then let up to a lower level. I absolutely love this device don’t have any complaints. If you’re thinking about buying it just do it. You’ll love it. Thanks for an amazing product and something that’s so crazy accurate.
App can't be viewed in landscape which I would like to do on row erg. Device comes with $10 strap that pops off and stops recording. Cool part about that is the app doesn't tell you. When you go to view the ecg tracing it's garbage from the time the little popper connection loosens. And no, you cannot necessarily tell one connection loosened. Device will not connect with PM5 on C2 row erg although it seems to come close. Feel like problem there may be the PM5. Even if it did you can only connect device to 1 Bluetooth thing. You would have to choose rower or phone. So if you want to know your heart rate you have to turn your head on its side. Edit: it does work in landscape now. I almost never get poor signal quality now positioning device slightly left of center. You connect it to PM5 by starting the activity. Then download the data to the app. Cool device cool app
