This app is a MUST HAVE for everyone or anyone willing to get hands on and wanting to learn or just get a job done without having to pay hundreds of dollars or wait for a professional to come out and spend twenty minutes and charge you hundreds if not thousands of dollars to do something as simple as plugging a wire into a hole! I wouldn't be able to afford having a professional come out and do repairs or anything with my current financial situation , and front door was such a GREAT investment ! I got my boiler back up and running in the middle of a snow storm myself thanks to video chat with a professional hvac and electrician and him walking me through the steps he would have done himself if he were called out to a job in person ! My eighty five year old grandmother would have froze and my pipes would have burst if not for this amazing app and the amazingly helpful caring professionals that work for frontsoor ! Atleast once a week i find a reason to call one professional or another and everytime it ends in success and feeling as though i can handle anything with a little help and keep what money i do have in my pocket for lifes necessities ! Without front door i wouldnt be living comfortably with heat and hot water and electricity that wotks properly and feeling safe and confident that i can handle whatever life throws at me with a little help from them ! And i must say any professional ive been connected with has been completely understandjng of whatever mess or situation ive put infront of them without judgement or fear of some kind of judgment related repercussion. I love front door!

I can’t believe how easy this app is to use. I’ve needed help fixing up a few things in my house before selling it and I didn’t know this app existed when I was starting. I’m a little handy, but I often have to search the internet for a long time before finding the answer I need. When I stumbled on Frontdoor, I figured I would try a free call to see if they could help me out with some of the electrical tasks I needed to complete before an inspection. I was amazed at how easy it was to get an experienced electrician to answer all my questions, look at my problems with me, and actively guide me through the process of upgrading receptacles. Frontdoor will be my first go-to source for any issues I have at my home from now on!

I saw the commercial and thought I’d try this app out because our dishwasher just started leaking. The first free chat session, The guy was nice, he said try lifting the front of it up and since I’m not sure if this will fix it, I’ll credit you another session. Awesome great. It didn’t fix it. My boyfriend dug into the dishwasher a little more and found that the bottom seal was dipped in the middle and couldn’t find a part number, so I opened the credited chat session. The second chat session, the seemed like he was trying to get off the phone with me and gave me a part number. When I googled it, it wasn’t right. I reached out to help session to see if I could get with someone to get the correct part number and they told me no, that I would have to buy and upgrade my membership. I asked, why would I buy a membership if I’m 0-2 on getting the correct information? They said there was nothing they could so I deleted my account with them. The app is user friendly and the one guy did seem like he was trying to help, which is why I gave it 2 stars. It’s a nice idea, but all the information they gave I already found online, so this was a waste of time for me. And the fact they didn’t make the wrong information they gave right, doesn’t fly with me. Save your time & money, troubleshoot online. Response to Developer response: people can have all the experience in the world, but if they don’t want to take the time to apply it, what good does it do? I gave the app two chances and was given wrong information both times, why would I try a third time? No thank you. We just bought a new dishwasher, so we’re good.
