Fronius Solar.web PRO

On the 19th of October 2019, this app stopped updating data, on the 20th of October 2019, the Fronius website went live with a new ‘Premium’ service option. No pricing has been shown on the website, only a trial premium membership option. Despite paying extra for the Fronius Smart Meter and also having to pay for the App to use the Fronius Smart Meter. They’re also apparently trying to sell people Solar Predictions (not a thing) with this Premium option Installations have obviously slowed and now Fronius are desperate to keep the shareholders happy! Where is the ‘Good Faith’.. what’s next? Will you be remotely accessing my inverter to slow production in future? Will I then be able to unlock this with a little extra premium ‘In App Solar’ purchase? Are Fronius to be trusted when I’ve been told over the phone that a ‘fix’ for the App is forthcoming? I suppose if the problem is fixed without me having to pay any more I will adjust this review, but until then, you’ll get 1 star (because you can’t get Zero) and you’ll sit at 2.2 as an overall score.. time will tell.... 2 day Solar predictions? Ha!

App Should be free. No one will use this App except we the customers. App on my iPhone 7+, i can see the power data on the grid, solar panel and home all at on3 glance. However on my iPhone Xr, i have tap on the Grid, Solar Panel or Home to see the data one at a time. Really a pain especially when you still have to wait for the data to load.

Pretty basic app. Should have been free as you have already bought the inverter. Better off pushing data to PVOutput and using the pvoutput pro app to monitor and analyse I bought this due to getting the energy monitor add on thinking it would have very fast updates to see how much power things are sucking. Only updates about once every 30 seconds at best. Also when opening the app it shows incorrect generation/usage until it updates (~30 seconds) with it showing usage is exactly the same as the generation. Great inverter and great info (minus temp) when pushing outputs to pvoutput. But this app could be so much more
