Don’t bother (5 star reviews are fake)

*First I’m just gonna point out, the 5 star reviews are fake* When signing up it would only let me choose Kentucky as my state and Louisville University as my college. I wish that was an exaggeration, it’s just this one college. After creating my account, I found zero pages showing where to get textbooks at all and I got notifications of people from this Louisville University college about Dominoes pizza or whatever. The search bar to lookup a course has no results for several 3-letter 4-number course codes I tried finding. Couldn’t find anything at all. There’s nothing to this app. The Profile page allows you to change your college, but it’s still only this one university in Kentucky. I live in Florida so that’s what confuses me the most, but alright then. Now I probably need to unsubscribe from emails I’ll inevitably get. Just… don’t bother. Continue looking for cheap/free textbooks elsewhere :(

Must Download!

Overall, the app itself is GREAT! Easy to use, understand, and worth downloading. As a customer you constantly receive great perks(free: food, supplies, BOOKS) throughout the semester. AND when you’re ready to get rid of your books, you can see how much they’re worth and ask someone to pick them up for you. It’s that easy. Yes, only some states and schools are able to experience the full functionality of the app, but that’s because the company is trying to grow. Finally, i’ll end with saying the support team is very willing to help with any questions or concerns you may have. This company is fun to work for!

Always better than the bookstore!

The prices for buying books has always been cheaper than the local bookstore for me. Some are even free (hence the name!). And then when you sell them back, FTB gives better buyback prices than the bookstore too! Plus, there are giveaways all the time through the app (think: Chick-fil-A, cookies, cupcakes, and more)! The app is super simple to use. Keep it up, Free Textbooks!
