Everything is all well and good until you have a problem. Then. you realize the flaws in the system. There is no way to personalize notes. The app might go through an upgrade and all of a sudden, you have problems with your template. But worst of all, sometimes you lose your documentation. The latter is the position I find myself in as I try to recreate my clinic. I dont even have my handy notes to help me because I put my trust in this technology. And worse, there is no one to call an help! All they have is a bot that directs you to form articles that do not help with the matter at hand. So disappointing. Never again. I am closing up all my remaining documentation, and will be on the hunt for something else. I hear Heidi might be the way to go.
This technology is awesome. I feel so…freed up to focus on my patients and let the app capture our conversation. My notes are much more comprehensive and I’m extremely impressed with how it captures and organizes everything we talk about, even when we’re speaking in Spanish!
I really wanted Freed to deliver what it promises, but it misses in a big way. The notes are very poorly structured at the end of your visit. It is especially problematic in the assessment and plan section when you are left with a massive list of problems that the patient mentioned, and other conditions that were barely referenced in your conversation. I found myself taking 10 minutes to edit the freed note when it would’ve taken me five minutes to compose it on my own.
