I have played this game EVERY night since my son was in the eighth grade and he just turned 21. The rules keep the game interesting and challenging. Do yourself a favor and purchase the no ads version as they have started placing short ads during your game that kills your score. I rate the game a “10”.
We have come up with an incredibly fun way of playing FreeCell. We call it Measeasy (Medium-Easy-Easy). It is a head to head race playing 3 consecutive Freecell games. Since some games are harder or easier depending on the cards, playing three games back to back helps to even out the randomness of the draw. Rules that we play by: Count down to begin first game - on your mark - get set - GO! Must start with a medium level game, after completing the medium game, move on to two easy games. Mulligan - If you get stuck you are allowed to abandon ONE game and start a fresh one on that level. Your opponent does not have to wait for you in any way if you decide to use your mulligan. Undo - You may undo as many moves as you like. Restart - You may restart a game at any time, this would be equivalent to undoing all the way back to the beginning of your game. Fun stats (standard mode) Best time :28 easy, :53 medium Games played 6,283

It seems that one's focus in the game can become, through practice, much more inclusive, feeling like a personal "superpositional" awareness, to borrow an image from quantum mechanics. Then the game becomes an organic experience, intuitive and aesthetically beautiful. That is, for me, a meditative experience with periods of ego loss that can be experienced anywhere I have coverage. What times to be living in! And the recent addition of an expert level of play was a much appreciated improvement from the crew at Finger Arts. If only each game had a unique number and could be recalled and rated...
