Foodie Sizzle

I love this game. I really do. It's fun, and it provides challenge, and I play it all the time, but the ads are often broken: I can't find the X button, or it won't even play, or the minigame won't load. I just restart my game because I don't want to deal with broken ads anymore to get an extra slot, which I would if the ads actually worked. Additionally, this app runs extremely poorly sometimes on my phone. It'll freeze and barely register a third of the taps that I make on my phone screen, or it'll just not let me tap at all. It'll heat up my phone incredibly hot, and it'll eat at my battery like crazy. Then, just now, it bugged out so bad that I couldn't even turn my phone off or exit the app. I was hitting the power off button but it didn't even register, and it wouldn't take my tapping. For all the love I have for this game, I have infinitely more problems. The poor operation might be a fault of my device, but other times it work just fine. I don't see why an app like this should run this poorly. I have another app from this publisher that runs perfectly smoothly with none of these problems, so I don't see a reason why these problems should exist. I genuinely enjoy this game and I want to play it more, but it is so frustrating dealing with these glitches.

I am on level 173 and have been playing for a little while. The game itself is fun and some levels are easier than others so it has nice variety. You can watch ads for some “power ups” (quotes because I’m not sure what they are called!) which is nice when you are stuck on a level. I do agree with the reviews saying it’s frustrating when the order guy comes after you have already used the item and then you have to restart the level you would have already won otherwise but you can tap the x on the order and watch an ad to skip the order so that helps if you have to. My current complaint that just showed up this morning is half the items look like they normally do and half look like they are trying to look more like real food or something. Having to get used to so many different items at once is overwhelming and so I would suggest if making the items look different (and please don’t, please have them look like they did before - they used to be cute but now they just look weird!) please only do one item at a time, our poor brains might appreciate the gradual change!

Dishonest game designed to make you slowly lose over and over. At first watching an ad or two gets you boosts that pass the level after a bit more they barely work then not at all. I made it to level 40 watching 5-6 ads per level including boost incentives before or during the game. This is AI rigged like a slot machine to be sure you never get enough possible matches to pass levels after the first 15-20. A first this game is very fun, but the things that come up are rigged to make sure you get no matches. It will let you make a few matches per level and then all of a sudden no matter what you do it’s impossible to find matching items. You then very quickly run out of time there’s never enough time to do a level so you have to watch an ad to get just a few more seconds if you want to change the things on the screen, watch an ad again, then they will give you matches where the items are frozen. You have to watch an ad to unfreeze, then you run out of time and watch an ad again. Rigged to be unplayable you either watch tons of ads or pay, but even if you watch an ad to use a boost the level will still be rigged with no possible matches making you start over. This is a game to see how dumb you are and how many ads you will watch and whether or not you will pay before you give up. Complete scam.
