Font Maker: Create Your Font

Was a very good app that’s why I gave it. Four stars there is no ads very fast and it was just cool in general, but I thought i could use my own font when I text people and stuff. It is cool but I just wish that you could use it when you text people I’m not giving it a lower rate because it was my mistake not yours but to make your app cooler and better than others. You should definitely do that. I think it will get way more people intrigued in your app 🤨🥸

This is exactly what I was looking for: the ability to export to TTF, the ability to create glyphs for multiple languages in one font. I wish there were two additional features: (1) a unicode mode where the expert user could see more than just one language at once (this is especially important for mathematical uses, which has glyphs outside of the alphabets and standard symbols) and (2) the ability to remove the damned animation every time a character set is saved. The animation wasted SO much of my time. I just wanted to add å to Danish, ä to German, ñ to Spanish, you really don't have to show me every lowercase glyph after every small change. Just animating the differences or providing a unicode mode would solve this issue too.

The concept is ok, but definitely needs fixes. First of all, and most Importantly, you have to pay to use it! You take the time to make your font (more on that later), and when you finish and press “export” it tells you to pay! I get that these people have to make money somehow, but at least let people use some features of the app! As for the font making process itself, there are some issues. First and most noticeably, there is only one “brush” (how you draw). It also has a glitch so when you draw up or down out of the outline, it draws this weird “spear” mark or triangle or something (donno how to explain it exactly). Next, I noticed (excitedly) that you can (supposedly) make multiple fonts, (as opposed to other apps I’ve tried, where you can only make one and can’t edit that one font). Well, turns out not. Not without paying, anyway. But, if you paid, then you could probably make more than one, which I like. And this brings me back to the paying problem. I didn’t get to actually try the part where you use the font to see if there are any problems there, since I didn’t pay, but other apps had problems in that area. I hope this app doesn’t (for those users who do). If these things are fixed, this would be a great app!
