FAR AIM

Highlighting is a bit clumsy in that it is hard to control what is being highlighted (or I just have fat fingers). When trying to highlight a word, line, etc., the highlight can jump to next line, word, whatever. Then have to cancel and start over. Besides that, great app. Update. Things have gotten worse. Now the app hangs up, literally, it will close after a few minutes, < 3. And when it is on it is difficult, some cases impossible,to search or edit bookmarks or even create a new bookmark. Also, it seems that my bookmarks move and are no longer on the correct page.

This app is amazing! One stop shop for all regulations and Aim related questions. Combine this and ForeFlight and you are saving a ton of weight in your flight bag . However the app needs dark mode for when studying at night or when wanting to double check a reg before a Night XC. It would be way easier on the eyes and save some precious battery!!!

I have had the FAR/AIM app for the last year and have loved it. The ability to search, highlight, and bookmark pertinent FAR’s is invaluable. The app constantly updates the regulations and being able to see what has changed is a feature no other app has that I am aware of. Not only that, the customer support is unparalleled. Twice I have made suggestions or asked questions and both times I got a personal email back WITHIN AN HOUR. The email talked about how to address the issues I was having and listed a phone number I could call if I had any other questions. The suggestions I made in a previous email were taken to heart in that Bill remembered them and told me what they were doing as a team to implement those suggestions! In short I really appreciate the professionalism that the team shows and that the app demonstrates. I am CONFIDENT this app will only get better with time.
