Face Model: 3D Head Reference

The longer I’ve had this app the more I hate it. You can not add cultural features to the faces. Examples: non hooded eyes, Greek noses, Native American cheeks bones. It’s very white washed. Changing the expressions is horrible. They are are so far from life like it’s useless to use. When focusing on a specific feature of the face there’s no adjusting it by itself. The over all snap stay the same no mater what you do. I also despise who there are specific male limited features. That makes no sense!!! It makes it impartial/ impossible to create a masculine female face. Do not recommend and it’s a waste of time.

I picked this app as part of a bundle from the developer. Overall, the app shows promise but definitely needs some work. No skin tone options, next to no customizability for the lighting, and no support for the horizontal orientation on iPad or iPhone (surprising since the full body pose app from the same dev DOES support horizontal orientation. I’d love to see some hairstyle and facial hair options and some other added facial features tweaks in an update but most importantly: fix the vertical orientation lock—makes the app next to useless on the iPad without a separate stand.

The classical artist be disappointed but this is the only app in this category. Canonical (see Parramon) conventions difficult to achieve (forehead too low, etc. ) Setting distance from nose tip to top lip, chin to bottom lip, ear on side of head is difficult. Does not open on iPad 2018 after initial uses. Needed to restart computer. Chin, ear variability is weak, especially for female. Have used Skelly with success but this Ap needs work. If the designer could show how s(he) can match faces on real paintings this would be a great Ap, but it just is not there.
