I downloaded the app because I kept getting captivating video adds for epic tok. When I actually downloaded it, the material was strictly audio and honestly kind of boring. The information is still interesting and good to know, but the delivery falls flat compared to what they advertise.
Apparently, the app is a little bit buggy. Tried to listen to an episode and it kept shutting off and then going back to the beginning. Had to manually scroll to where it left off and then it would shut off again. Very frustrating. Then when I try to cancel shortly after signing up for the app, it wouldn’t go through. Kept getting stuck on an offer to cut the fee from $39/year to $24/year. It never connected me to an actual cancel page. So now I feel trapped. Please let me cancel! (Also I think the app people are confusing this with on Instagram is EpicTok, which looks like video, which this definitely isn’t. That’s how I ended up here in the first place.)
No videos as demonstrated in advertisement. Doesn’t show up in subscriptions in Apple settings. In the app, I click on the cancel subscription button in the account section and it takes me to an offer for $24 a year to stay. Says offer only lasts one minute and that if I exit the offer pop up I will never see it again. Not true. I exit pop up and it returns me to click cancel subscription page. I cancel again. Same popup. I X The popup. Returns to cancel page. I cancel again. Same popup. I think I’ll also go live a Facebook and instagram review.
