I bought this app because I figured it would help with my reading. I like the ruler tool a lot. However, it doesn’t scan correctly any of the texts. There is no trial period. $40 absolutely wasted and the way they advertise it you just see it as 0.77 per week. They don’t tell you that you’re forced to buy it the whole year. The scan text does not work because it mixes words together and doesn’t match at all what’s in the textbook. The last paragraph of my textbook was the first line in the scanner. Do not buy. It’s literally my biggest regret of a purchase. I have never written a review before but I’m literally writing one right now because of how upset I am about the scanner to text not working. That’s the whole reason why I bought the app, and the one feature I wanted to work did not work at all. DO NOT GET THIS APP.
A font I can read!!!!! I wish I knew I was dyslexic when I was a child! I believe it would have changed my life. My parents were big readers. I noticed I had a hard time reading when I was 4-5. It wasn’t until I saw this font in OPEN Dyslexia I realized I was dyslexic all my life!!! I’m 55 years old. I did very well despite dyslexia. But I can only image if I had been diagnosed earlier I would understand why I had such a difficult time reading! Thank you soooooo much!!!! 💕
Many years ago I was in my work place break room reading paperback book(Star Trek series). One of my co-worker who was a very educated teacher ask me why I was reading my book, she said she knew I was dyslexic but could figure out why I was reading a paperback. I told her because air enjoy reading. Okay, even though I am dyslexic I enjoy reading. Now I’m not as good as a non dyslexics, but I enjoy reading. It’s the one ability I wish I could do better. To improve my reading ability. I have been to a dyslexic doctor, yes there was one in Great Neck NY in the mid mid 80’s . He prescribed me motion sickness medication. I found out shorty after taking some motion sickness medication that I’m allergic to it. Bummer. I tried colored lens. Look up scotopic sensitivity syndrome. Honestly, I didn’t see a specialist about this treatment. I just played around with some colored lens, blue ones. I think it helped, but I just looked silly with blue tined glasses. Now this dyslexic fonts, I think this is a big win, but not everyone has dyslexic fonts that are available on there fonts apps, so I’m still testing honestly.
