Drouot.com - Live Auctions

I had several good experiences with the app, but then one very bad experience that made me realize that Drouot is far less trustworthy than platforms like Invaluable and LiveAuctioneers.

I have two separate orders from two separate auction houses still out after a month with the default recommended shipping company by Drouot. “The Packengers” has not even picked up my item from the auction house that I bought in November. Still waiting for an update. They keep giving a pickup date and the date comes and goes. This is the 5 date maybe? My other order is not moving as well from a different auction house. I had problems with them years ago and I ended up canceling the order and hiring another shipper. I gave them another chance this time because of Drouot but nothing has changed. I might have to dispute all charges with my credit card company. Drouot should know better and recommend credible companies for their shipping arangements. Update: I paid for the shipping service with The Packengers on 11/25/24. They didn’t pick up the item from the auction house until 1/10/25. Finally received the item on 1/27/26. The holidays were one thing but the auction house informed me that the packengers scheduled and missed many pickup appointments before they finally showed up to pick up the item. Keep this in mind when picking shipping options with French auction houses.
