Dreame - Read Best Romance

I’m giving 5 stars to get the bonus coins but in reality I give it 3. You need coins to open each chapter, but you can only accumulate about 21 coins per day without spending money but the cost of enough coins for entire book is enough to buy 5-10 actual books at a book store, especially since most of their books here are hundreds to over 1000 chapter and still ongoing! Also they have a system where you can accumulate points to exchange for coins but for anything over 200 points, the place you tap to make the exchange will be greyed out as if I already collected the coins, but the coins aren’t in my balance and I have no options left to exchange them. It makes me feel like it’s just a scam to get you to watch the ads or read the required articles so they can get money for it, but I get nothing in return for the huge investment of my time. So basically their points for coins system is a scam. Even their subscription offers are ridiculously overpriced. I pay less than $80 per year for a reading subscription that gives me unlimited ad free reading, but this one would be hundreds of dollars per year with only unlimited reading until I use up my weekly allotment of coins. So not worth it

This is the first reading app I downloaded and I’ve definitely been addicted from the beginning. Most of the stories are amazing. I’ve read so many great books! Lately, every time I come out of a book, no matter the reason, I lose my place. This I beyond frustrating when I’ve purchased or downloaded the entire book and I have to hunt and flip through chapters to find my spot. Also within last few week to a month, it stopped notifying when a new chapter has been added to an ongoing book I’m reading. There has also been a significant increase in the costs of books, which saddens me greatly! By the time you purchase enough coins to buy entire books, it far exceeds what the typical cost would be to purchase an actual book. Also, I absolutely despise the short time limit you have to use the bonus coins when using a “coupon” to top up!! I try to use them wisely but am often rushed into using them before I lose them. I think it’s unfair that the majority of the top up in this situation is switched to bonus coins anyways, I’ve spent money and earned the points for that top up, it should remain the same balance of coins vs bonus as is when a coupon isn’t used.

This was one of my favorite places to read, and it still is. They still have some of the best stories. But one thing I’ve noticed since I’ve been back, it’s all about the money. They changed so much. They took away the wait for free method of reading and changed the read and earn method completely. Before the purple unicorn coins (now point) were enough to open chapters, but now you have double/triple what you used to to covert it to gold coins; and the conversion is very steep prices and expensive — 40 points = 2 coins. That gets absolutely nothing in the terms of chapters even with the supposed “50%” sale they have. On top of that the method is harder than it should be because the system doesn’t acknowledge your reading accurately. If I spend 1 hour reading it will acknowledge 20-30 minutes; and I know this for a fact because I timed myself multiple times. And the icing on the cake that makes this even harder for people who can’t afford to buy coins is that they expire, and quickly. If you’re tying to save up for a book that is 30 gold coins (and that’s the sale price) it’s hard to do with coins expiring within 5 days of you earning them. And to make things even worse, they have a limited amount of points to coins conversions/limited time to convert them. Let’s say their system may have 100 conversions per category for a 6 hour time frame, and if you miss it because they sold out or cause you didn’t have time you lose out.

If you go to the Q&A section in the Feedback section you can go through each question and read EXACTLY How the site works and how to do everything you can possibly want. It’s that easy 🤦🏼‍♀️. If you don’t undo the Auto Unlock you will have chapters opening and using your coins. You have control over them but you have to know what to do. please stop complaining and read how everything works, you will enjoy the site more if you do. Not everyone knows how to do what I said above 👆 so I wanted to let others know so instead of not knowing before hand they will know if they do how I tried explaining it. I don’t understand why everyone else can’t see it. These apps like this actually help people whom want to write books. It’s not perfect but think about it as you could be helping someone with their Dreams. Yes quite a few have writing errors but not everyone has an editor to help them. If people would take the time to read what they should to know the site better instead of being rude, maybe they would see what Dreame means to these budding authors. Instead of commenting rudely, take the time to join FB group and see how much some of us enjoy it. If you figure out how to save your bonus coins until the day before they expire and purchase in bulk it’s not as expensive as most are saying. You just have to read TOS and other things to understand how everything works yet nobody seems to do that. Thank You Dreame for giving those a chance at their Dreams!

This is such a great app especially when your into wolves and stuff it’s amazing but as you can see in my title there is a problem with how many chapters I get to read. No offense but the app could have use for other things in order to make money because every time I go to read a chapter I always have to pay with coins. The problem is you can get bonuses but the prices for the chapters are at least 18 coins and THATS ONLY FOR ONE CHAPTER. It gives me only 8 minutes of enjoyment and I’m sorry for being a Karan but it kinda annoy me when I have to pay with coins cause I just got the app for enjoyment and instead of using coins for only 1 chapter you could have the user pay 18 coins for 3 chapters and that gives the Writer and the Reader what they want. It also lets you keep the coin idea. Or you could have special parts locked by the coins where there is a special part as a choice if you want to read it and use the coins and gems like in episode. It really annoys me and some other people cause I have been going into comments and seeing that people have no coins. This annoys a lot of readers not just me so I hope you can do something else with the coin and help some readers finish the story. I mostly complain about this cause a story has around 164 chapters in a book and it’s upsetting that I have to wait. Also the free time limit. You give people more days as they get farther into the story and that’s only for one episode. I have a story that I am 12 chapters into and it says I have to wait 21 days and some hours until I can read that ONE CHAPTER. T-T I just wanna finish the story.
