Dominator

Great app and does what I need it for - making sure my door has been closed and alerting me if someone else has opened it. Addition of watch control would make it even better.

I have the same issue on one of our doors that is exactly the same as the previous review with the same title. You can send commands from the app, and the door will open and close, but it doesn’t show you the current state of the door, nor the ability to stop it when in motion. I fixed this by resetting the receiver on the garage door unit (there is a reset button on the black unit). This works fine for about 5 months until I got the Bottom Garage Door is offline notification again (power cycling the door does not fix the issue. I suspect the hardware is faulty). Having to reset it every person few months isn’t a workable solution. Happy to be contacted if you need further info. Cheers, Matt.

It’s a nice app, I had some problems initially integrating with Alexa because my shopping region was set to US and it wasn’t showing up as a skill for me. Outstanding support by the team at Dominator resolved this for me - but as a suggestion could you just open this up to more regions? As I had previously been able to add other local specific skills (eg local train timetable) to Alexa even when I was set to the US. Would like more reminders that garage door is open other than just 30 minutes. Keep up the good work.
