My biggest complaint is the presence of auto correct in the name field where customers sign the tow ticket, I’m not sure if that’s something you can change or if it’s just a dumb iPhone thing. Also, it would be GREAT if we could add our own sounds for notifications, particularly on iPhone as you can not customize notification sounds for individual 3rd party apps.. Other than that and needing seriously good internet connection for the app to work correctly it’s great.
The photo uploads hardly work. I have to sit and wait. Which prevents me from clearing out my job. 7/10 I end up having to call dispatch and have them close the job out for me. Which I have already arrived at my other job by that time. Which means I have to keep the photos of the jobs on my phone which takes up space just in case a customer says I damaged their vehicle which is annoying. Also, this app need an “on shift”, toggle button so I can remain on the app to write down the info on the jobs I had done without dispatch sending me more work because technically I’m supposed to be off work. For these reasons 3/5 stars. I’ll change my review once this app as implemented better photo uploads and a “on shift” or “hey I’m working send me jobs” button.
Why on earth is there not an option to text a receipt and why after you email the receipt does the app not close out the receipt screen?? Why does the app go screaming sirens when you have your phone attached to your car stereo through auxiliary sound demanding you unplug your headphones??? Why does the app continually run in the background tracking every move you make? Even after you finish the call and close the app your location arrow stays blue and you have to force close the app every single call? Why if you are on a call does a new call continue to ring at you every 2 minutes demanding for you to open it and only give the option to start the call when you are already on one? Cool program but dang as a driver and daily user TowBook is way further advanced and user friendly. Y’all need a serious overhaul and update.
