After downloading the free app, you choose for the map you would like and pay. The app downloads the map to use offline. If uses you gps to trigger tour info add different locations. You can go at your own pace. Overall, the tour start out well and worked. But, when we had no signal, the app started freezing. It froze 6 times during the was around Tahoe. I had to restart my phone three times to get the app to start again. Final thoughts: I wish it provided more tour information points and also use less battery. Be prepared to restart the app and phone multiple times during the tour.

The guided tour was just what we needed. We enjoyed the history and other little tidbits that the narrator provided. It was well worth the price to be able to know something was coming that we didn’t want to miss. It was also useful to know how far off the main route we would have to go to see attractions or points of interest.

We wanted to go slow, take our time to enjoy the trip. This worked very well. The app showed us the route and told us the stories. We stopped for lunch, pictures, and more pictures. Lake is beautiful. Weather was ok. It rained a bit but we were in the car and still listening to the stories. I have been here twice before but had no idea about so many things that the Action app told us. Thank you.
