Dinosaur 4D+

This is hands down the coolest and most educational dinosaur toy I’ve ever seen! It teaches you the names of the dinosaurs based on how they sound, shows how they move, displays their skeletons, and even gives detailed information about each one. You can interact with them through your phone or iPad camera as they come to life in front of you – it’s like real-life VR without needing goggles! I bought this game for just $10 at Barnes & Noble back in 2018, and now it’s 2025 and STILL nothing compares to it. I was surprised to see it had bad reviews, but I realized it’s probably because people lost the key card – which is essential. Just a tip: don’t bother with VR glasses, just use your phone or tablet! Huge thanks to the creators of this game and app – you deserve an award. Honestly, it should be priced at least $100 for how amazing and educational it is.

So everything went fine with setting up the set and app but the only problem was the VR set itself. It gave me a super headache and I could not see the cards clearly. I found, that if you just hold the phone up to the card, it worked perfectly fine. There is actually no need to use the VR sets. All you need is the serial number, the cards and your phone!

I bought this for my dinosaur loving child for Easter (2017) when he was just 2...everything worked great. I put the cards up so they wouldn’t get ruined as I thought this was something he would be able to use and learn from for years to come. Now here we are, July 6,2018, trying to use them again and it’s asking for a serial number. I have no idea where to find that (looking at another review it’s on the instruction card that came with it but it appears I no longer have that card) and now we can’t use the app. This is such a bummer and completely diminishes the appeal of these cards. What a disappointment. I rarely bother writing reviews but this warrants one. Smh. Unacceptable.
