Digicel Call International

This was a great way to call overseas for little or nothing, we were not aware of this service until we were told that whats App is a third party operator and AT&T is being charged. Price are consistent and efficient compared to other carriers. My first rodeo so I’ll monitor this and see where it will go or streamline from here Byrd Mitchell

24 hours after putting this app on my phone and adding money, I am still unable to make an international call. When I dial the number I get a fast busy signal which means that the call is not going through. Customer service they gave me an 800 number to access the service outside without the app. The access # works fine BUT the problem is the rate on their 800 number is twice the rate of the app, so instead of paying $.10 per minute on the app, I have to pay $.20 per minute. I was told by Customerservice that I should uninstall and reinstall the app, but that still did not fix the problem with the fast busy signals with all the numbers I call. I don’t see why I have to pay twice the amount when the app should at half the price. Why should I literally pay more due to for dysfunctional app?

I don’t personally use this app but I downloaded it on my moms iPhone in an attempt to find an alternative to her using the house phone to call her family back in Guyana. She tends to talk to my grandmother everyday or every other day and the bill used to add up. This app has saved her so much money!!! $20 recharges last her about 6-8weeks. She used to spends $100 minimum per month. She hasn’t complained of any issues so we are very happy with the app.
