Does not connect to my brand new Samsung 65” TV. Deco knows of the problem and is seeing it with other Samsung Frame tv’s. They have not figured out what is causing the problem or how to fix it.
I’ve had the SRS for over a year now. The WiFi switch is definitely an improvement — no more visible cord and setup feels cleaner overall. The old firmware update process used to be a bit of a pain, so I’m happy that part is simpler now.
The new firmware and application flow simply drop the dynamic brightness feature of the sensor. No warning. It got also erased from the documentation. I regret upgrading. Email collection practices are pretty aggressive as well. The app will not let you proceed to setting up the device you already own until you provide an email for a mailing list. Oh, and the older page with manual firmware download is now removed from public access, so the app is the only way. I’m very disappointed. My SRS-2 is going into trash.
