My friend showed me this app and I love it! It’s amazing if you want to plan your day out and you can add more stuff to it plus you can take a test to see if you have ADHD or anxiety! This app is the best 5 stars definitely has the most amazing stuff and it’s really good and it’s a lot more than I saw on the adds but definitely recommend downloading!!!!
I got this app a while ago, and I do genuinely like it! It offers more free features than other paid apps or subscriptions which I love. There’s so many options for building a custom routine for morning and evening, and the interface is quite simple to use! However, I really wish there were some specific features. For instance, I would ADORE a Dark Mode for when I want to use the app at night. The bright white interface is blinding in the dark, and I generally do not do well with bright backgrounds, as I am sensitive to light. Additionally, I would really appreciate if the “Newcomer Discount” message would GO AWAY. It’s the first thing I see whenever I open the app and it’s really annoying. I understand wanting to promote the paid services of this app but it’s aggravating to see that message and click out of it every single time I open Dear Me. Or at least if there was an option like “Do Not Show Again” after seeing the promotion message once. Aside from these issues, I love the app so far and really like how organized it is! :)
I was so excited to try this app. I really wanted to like it and I NEED the help. But there are some major drawbacks to this app. First, the app is so pushy about paying for membership. Yes, you can X out of it and use it for free (limited access to features). I would have paid for the membership, but I wanted to be able to see what I was paying for first!! The introduction was cute and seemed helpful, but then you’re prompted to pay before seeing how it works. So I kept hitting X to close the pay screen, and tried to give it a chance. I added a recurring habit and set a time for it to remind me. I ended up stuck in a call for work, and I got a notification about an “overdue task.” That immediately stressed me out. And the default first “habit” (which is a reminder to take a deep breath) triggered a notification at midnight. I got many notifications to “hustle.” Sorry, but that just increases my anxiety, it doesn’t relieve it. So I am the app. Thanks but no thanks.
