This is my favorite countdown app!!!! I have ADHD and it helps so much to see how much time I have left instead relying on myself to be able to gage the time properly (I almost never do). The only thing I ask, if it’s possible, is a daily countdown option that I could add as a lock screen widget!! Something that I can preset with how many hours I have left in the day based on my set bedtime and then once that time hits, it transitions to a countdown for hours I sleep until my scheduled wake up time. This would help SO MUCH with my bedtime procrastination as I would be able to constantly and easily see throughout the day how much time I have left to be successful with my day! I haven’t been able to find an app that can do this and trust that you guys would do it best anyway!
I like the app and its balance between customizability and simplicity. The main countdown functionality seems to work fine but I wish there was a way to sync contains to multiple devices. I want to have the same countdown on my iPad that I created on my iPhone without having to create from scratch again. I tried "sharing" with myself but when I open it on my other device, I always get an error saying that the countdown is not shared with me. When I try to change the share setting "only invited people can join" to something like "anyone can join" or something, I just get a blank screen without any ability or indication to change sharing options. I tried sharing from both devices and I get the same behavior so I assume it's the app and not my devices, or the fact that I'm trying to share a countdown with myself. If that isn't supported, it should be. I think this last feature would make it perfect for me. I did buy the license so I'm hopeful for improvements down the line!
All of the other apps out there have so much extra fluff, are packed with ads, have annoying pop ups, requests to sign up/subscribe... this has none of that. If you pay you get more widgets but it has everything I want and isn’t weighed down with extra crap. The only thing I’d add is a custom color picker. Update: I actually just upgraded to the paid version. The app was fully functional even before the upgrade. No annoying popup ads, it had what I wanted, and was enjoyable without feeling like it was only half an app. Because I appreciated that I decided to get the pro version. It has a few extra features like more countdowns and layouts, but it’s more like a perk (and one I’ll enjoy and gladly indulge in to support such a great developer).
