Apparently, the only app that can actually do basic math. If I was to tell you that today is Jan 1st, and my special day is Jan 3rd, you would expect the lock screen to read “2 days”. All the other apps read “1 day” while this app understands that even though TECHNICALLY there is 1.5 days remaining, the user wants it to display 2 days. So thank you. This is exactly what I wanted. One suggestion: the image you select for an event does not seem to appear inside the widget on the lock screen. Not a huge deal, just slightly annoying.

Like others mentioned, you have to pay to get this to display as a widget. I kept the app anyway and just didn’t have a widget display since I didn’t want to pay. But my annoyance is that as soon as it hit midnight the day of my event, it started counting up. I never even saw 0 or saw it say that today is the day. It just automatically starts counting up yet it looks exactly the same. It doesn’t say “hours since” or anything. So at first glance it looks like it’s still showing X hours until your event. What’s the point of that?? I don’t need to know how long it’s been since the clock hit midnight the day of my event. And I didn't find any way to change it. It might sound dumb but most people do a countdown for the satisfaction of seeing “0 days until…” or whatever so I felt like I counted down to nothing.

First off, I want to say how amazing the customizing is. And making everything the way you want. From the fount to the colors, to the pictures that you can select. Plus picking your own song with the count down. Is genius! But, I was disappointed when I found out that it’s not an alarm that gos off when the countdown is done. Just a quiet notification, I want my phone to play the song I picked when the countdown ends. And I shouldn’t have to open the app to do it. I want more than just an aesthetically pleasing Countdown. I want it functional where it would wake me up to remind me that it’s my birthday. It’s so frustrating that these apps don’t do that. It takes the fun out of it.
