This app really overcomplicated things. You can tell whoever developed the app doesn’t actually use the app daily out in the field. If they did, then the new Copeland app would be way more like the old CheckCharge app. The old check and charge app was awesome. I used it for many many years. Especially loved that on the old app, I could tap on a button and see a very straightforward, traditional pressure temperature chart for whatever refrigerant I was using. Now it’s some stupid slider, which is completely unnecessary and really slows me down when I want to just glance at the chart and do the math in my head like I’ve done for 20 years. I understand the app developer probably had good intentions, but please don’t ditch the simple way to do things and make the only option a complicated one. I’m seriously about to go back to the three ringbinder days because of how user un-friendly this is.

I am a second semester HVAC Student and just loved the chapter I had to do on this app! Having worked in the past at Grainger I had some of the “paper math” down on how to find some of the info but with this app no thinking is required! It runs so smooth on my iPhone 11 and iPad Pro 2 (dec 2018 version) I don’t think I’ll be able to live without it at this point…
