CompareMe Price Comparison

One of my favorites!

I love this application. CompareMe allows you to check the cash and percentage premium/discount you get with two different products, based on the quantity, package size (in similar or different measurements), and price. You can even drag and drop values from one product to the other and type in your own premium and discount values. This not only allows you to easily pick what products give you the best value for your money, but helps you with bargaining too! The interface is very user-friendly, so you'll be hagging like a pro in no time!

This app is a wonderful way to compare different items and thus will help you to save money if used. My one gripe is that I cannot stand the numeric keyboard layout. It is upside down from a normal calculator. Perhaps some don't really care, but for those of you used to a normal calculator keypad, it takes extra time to input your values because the numeric keys are not where you expect them. I would hope that the developer would correct this, or in the very least, provide a toggle option so you could choose your preferred layout. Once corrected, I'll give that fifth star. Updated on 3-2-09: Imagine that, the developer did correct the keypad. I absolutely love it when they listen to their customers. I've changed my rating to five stars. I'll provide that all elusive sixth star if you provide a bit of audio feedback on the keypad (click sound) so as to make it "feel" more like real buttons rather than just a piece of glass that it is ;-) But as it stands, this is one excellent app at doing what it was designed for.
