Docking another star off my previous 4 stars. First you changed the way new rules are obtained. (Less shuffles than before so you have to either watch more ads or spend coins to find combos you like). Fine, whatever, I got used to it. Now you've changed the way you can purchase stickers in the gallery???? I use to buy stickers no problem as I wanted them. And I just got them. No biggy. Now I have to buy the sticker like 3 times to get it unlimited AND I have to do that for an entire pack before I can buy copies of the others. I understand this matches the unlock way sticker events run. Where you have to complete the full set multiple times, but some of these old sets I only like one or two stickers. So I'm not totally inclined to buy every sticker 3 times just so I can use ONE OR TWO multiple times in my gallery. Look I get it, this is an oncredibly minor part of the game, but I've been playing since before global launch so watching the game get progressively more greedy and money hungry for me to spend up my earned currency is super depressing. This game is great. PLEASE don't keep circling the drain of obsessive mobile game greed. You already run 8 gajillion ads. Do you really need to start doing predatory monetization in every corner of the app as well?
Let me start by saying that I really love this game. It’s unique and interesting. Challenging but not too overly difficult. I love the hint system…how it helps guide you to the correct solution rather than simply revealing the answer. I love all the different rules and how they’re combined for unique play experiences. It keeps the game fresh and interesting. I don’t quite understand the sticker packs. I think that’s unnecessary and doesn’t add to the play value. It says you can use them to decorate your icon but I can’t figure out how to do that. My biggest complaint is that I can’t select the rules I want to play. I understand that you need to reach level 10 to master a rule or combination of rules to be able to choose it freely. But there are some rules…those from the beginning of the game…that never appear in the rules list so that I can master them. I am a comletionist and it drives me crazy that I can’t finish off those categories. I have refreshed until I am blue in the face and watched ads to get extra refresh attempts and they simply will not appear as an option. In fact, I have gotten the message “There are no more categories “ multiple times, even though those pesky 2 that I am sitting at chapter 7 & 9 never appeared. Please, please fix this so my OCD doesn’t drive me totally insane.
Update 2: Back up to four. The UI seems to be working again, and I can just pay for no ads. Which I’m fine with as long as they dont misrepresent the ad situation? Like keep some ads when I pay for none will update again if so. Update: Drop from five stars to two. This recent update added forced ads, broke the UI, and generally ruined the entire experience of playing a game I had been loving for weeks. I dunno if someone bought it with the intent to ruin it for ad revenue or if the original devs had this as a plan the whole time but I don’t plan to keep playing. My original five star review: I’ve liked sudoku and minesweeper and lots of other logic grid games. This one has been a lot of fun. I recommended it to a few friends. Lots of different rule sets. Not sure if I’ve seen them all yet. Honestly, hope they keep adding more. It’s fun combining different logic game rules. So far no ads. Can buy hints or something like that, but they don’t seem necessary? Gamification seems pretty good. Daily challenges and going up levels and unlocking new game modes and getting to pick from random game modes so you don’t always pick the same one. Quite nice.
