I’m not really good at writing reviews but- here we go!! It’s really cool. The coloring itself is pretty relaxing and cute! It’s not too simple but not too complicated to the point you want to quit (lol) The custom mode is also pretty good, apart of the fact that there should be at least and undo button for when you accidentally color the wrong things instead of trying to color match it all over again, but mostly that’s just a pet peeve of mine. The ads are mostly alright and fair. There aren’t so many to the point where it’s just stressful, so that’s a plus!! The story line so far is really good! And I just love the moon and the little character! It’s all just too cute :) Anyways I tried to keep this short and sweet since I thought this game deserved a review! It’s alright if you don’t agree with me or I’m missing something since I haven’t completed the game yet but at least you have my opinion :D Good bye have a good day/night/evening!!
I really enjoyed the Picross Luna games, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw an ad for Coloring Luna- I figured it would be a chiller version of Picross, the same story with less puzzling, maybe even a more in-depth story or a continuation. However, I was sorely mistaken, as Coloring Luna is considerably more boring with a complete lack of story, the ads don’t “stop” at any point (like Picross’s “ads disappear once you reach 90% completion of the game” gimmick, that I’ll be honest- I’m not sure was real, but at least it made me feel better about the ads I did see) and are considerably more annoying (watch ads to unlock levels). Not to mention, even as a stand-alone coloring game, it’s not that great- the ending replay animation doesn’t follow the player at all, making up its own order to color the image in, and the lack of numbers for color sorting removes any strategy one might bring to a coloring game like this. On a positive note, however, the music is fantastic, considerably less repetitive than other games, and the art designs and color choices are pretty and calming- so if that’s all you really want in a coloring game, then you’re definitely set.
I love the picross luna games, and figured I would try this game since I really like the story. This is a fun and enjoyable, but really quite short, game. I give it 4 stars because of the very frequent advertisements, but you’re able to skip them pretty quickly after they start. I would recommend this since it is a very cute story, and the picross games can be more challenging for people to complete, so this is a more accessible way to experience the luna story.
