Collections Database

I sell vintage items and have shops on several online platforms. Besides the obvious data I need to keep (photos, titles, descriptions, keywords, price etc.) I also have internal data such as condition notes, weight, and location in my own storage. Since I take and touch up photos on my phone, a lot of my workload is now done directly on it. This app has worked great for me. It’s simple and user friendly, with just enough customizable fields to allow me to create the database I wanted, without a whole bunch of confusing and hard to configure variables. I’ve been able to save long-winded descriptions and then duplicate and tweak when listing new similar items. For those users who might be considering it for the same purpose, it allows for as many photos as you need and has color coded fields for quick visual confirmation (I use theses for storage areas for instance). Currently my primary database has about 3500 items. Sadly its search feature seems a little stretched thin and takes a moment. Otherwise I love this thing. If you’re looking for the most robust and scalable solution, this is probably not for you. But if you’re cataloging a personal or side hustle collection it’s perfect.

I had long been in need of a way to categorize a high number of voice memos and recordings. I didn't have the programming knowledge to make a slick solution, and I didn't want to fuss with how it looked. I wanted a solution that was simple, easy, had a good UI, looked cool, and had a lot of power if I wanted to explore what's underneath the hood. Collections database has delivered all of this, and more. I went from an unorganized mess to a deeper clarity about my ideas. I found myself generating more ideas once the old ones were added to my datatbasd, and categorizing them quicker. This app has already had a huge impact. I don't write reviews often (it's such a waste of time to write anything online!). This app deserves and gets only the highest praise from me. I wasn't prompted to write this review by the developer, either. This just needed to get written... this app is seriously that good and everyone interested in cataloging their ideas should know about it.

I randomly came across this app while searching for something unrelated. For some reason it is hard to get a good rating on the Mac App store compared to other app stores, and since it had almost 5 stars I was curious. After I learned what the app was and I read through all the reviews I decided to download it. The first thing that I noticed when looking around the app was that it is a simple, clean, yet functional app for creating personal data collections. The second thing I noticed was that the developer had implemented a good amount of user suggestions. So not only is this apparently a good app, it has a Developer that follows up, follows through, and continuously maintains the app with new features and updates. That is rare to see on this app store. To show my support and to encourage other Devs to follow suit, I went ahead and purchased the Pro version of the app. To be honest, I have no need for this app, I just really wanted to show my support to a Developer that not only cares about maintaining the app, but cares about and listens to the userbase. I'd support that anyday. Keep up the amazing work! I would love to see more of your apps in different categories. Do you have a website you can share that I can check out what all you have developed?
