Not for American coins
The scanner and database is not for American coins. I tried several and it tried to tie them to foreign coins. Maybe, if your collection includes a lot of foreign coins, this might be a good app for you. But, if you have a lot of American coins. Find something else.

I’ve only just begun…
So far so good! Lots of fun & fascinating coin facts. I originally downloaded this app to utilize the coin identification tool, but it appears that you can only access it if you sign up for a monthly subscription. So I’m going to try the 7day free trial first make sure it’s worth the monthly cost. I was pleasantly shocked by the interesting content I’ve found so far in this app so I’ll keep you all posted!
