LuckyCoin: Coin Collecting App

I’ve been using this app since May and I found some flaws in it. I’ve emailed them and they’ve been pretty good about fixing them but lately it has gotten slow. I think I’ve turned in for two corrections and they emailed me back. They would be putting a new push out within the next week to correct them. Well, I’m still waiting and I’ve already got another coin that is not in there, which i’m sure was a mishap or a coin made they didn’t know about all I ask is that they fix it. they were willing to give me extra time on the app which I told them I’m not worried about that. I just wish they would go ahead and get the problems fixed when reported to them. I made a suggestion I wish they would go ahead and make a search engine so that you could type in the coin and it would take you to it instead of spending a lot of time looking for it, otherwise it’s pretty good app for keeping track of your coins. Thanks for the considerations Twinmaker241 Update on the fix: received an email and they corrected the problems that were wrong with it. The reason for the slight delay was Apple had to approve their update to push it out. I’m happy now and I’ve put in some suggestions. I’ll just wait and see if they can do it or not. suggested a search for where the coins are and taking you right there to the opening page ,For coins.

I appreciate this app for what it is but don’t appreciate it for what it pretends to be & charges for what it inaccurately concludes. The grading via camera should never be taken seriously whatsoever. Not even as a reference for you can make a VF coin register as MS67 if the lighting is right. In short — save yourself the money & time & simply take screenshots of the categories with all the columns & such then drop them into the Books app or whichever application suits you best & lastly utilize the PCGS app which has population reports & current values along with actually showing photos of different years along with facts and all the differing varieties too. After having done so, you’ll now have your own spreadsheets where you can crop & place your photos within the screenshots you took that’ll neatly be nestled inside Books with actual photo grade references & far far more information. It may sound like a lot of tedious tasks to achieve what I have recommended but it’s really not & it’s worth it for its free & actually accurate.

This app is a great way of letting me know what I still am in need of for my collections while out and about. I sent my suggestion of have a sub section specifically for coins that are 40% or 90% and received a nice response so the people behind this are receptive to suggestions. I also would like to echo another reviewers idea of S mint mark sections. As well as just overall more coins to select that I own. Great app otherwise. I will keep my subscription going. Well worth the 6 bucks.
