The Good: I’m really impressed with the 360-degree rotation and the overall image clarity. The pictures are crisp, which makes it easy to see exactly what’s going on in the yard. My favorite feature by far is the alarm and strobe light setting—it’s a fantastic deterrent that provides a real sense of security. The Bad: The biggest drawback is that the camera does not automatically follow motion. Even though it can turn 360 degrees, you have to manually move it yourself via the app. This is a significant flaw; if an event occurs just outside the current field of view, the camera won't "give chase," and you’ll miss the action entirely. The Ugly: I’ve also noticed that it occasionally misses motion triggers altogether, even when something happens right in front of it. Between the inconsistent detection and the lack of auto-tracking, it feels more like a manual monitor than a fully automated security system. Final Verdict: If you’re okay with manually checking in and moving the lens, the picture quality and alarm features are top-notch. However, if you need a "set it and forget it" camera that tracks intruders, you might want to look elsewhere.

The many functions on this camera and solar system are so easy to use and make life so easy and make you feel safe. The camera has strobe lights with alarm. A on and off switch light in app and screenshot and intercom mode. It also has the option for recording with the cloud subscription which is very cheap and awesome. This was the best choice I ever made for home security instead of spending hundreds of dollars I spent $40 and my friends say it works better then there expensive systems.

This is a review of the app, not the camera: I’ll start with the pros: the app has most of the important capabilities necessary for most users. It has advanced motion detection, alert control, ways to watch video of detections, etc. The problem is that it doesn’t do any of these well. For starters, the video all detection events starts pretty late after movement. There is no easy way to download videos from the device. You can sometimes click on an event message and it’ll take you to the right place in the timeline, but it usually doesn’t work. You usually have to scroll up the timeline to find whatever event you’re looking for, and if you don’t land exactly on the event itself, it resets you to either the beginning of the day or the most recent event. You can press “Record” and the event you want to save starts to play, but even if you hit it immediately, it skips the first few seconds of the video. There is no intuitive or clear way to delete videos from the device short of formatting the entire SD card. I’ve had to physically power off and on the device a few times because it’s detection alerts and recordings were so late. It has the ability to be better and be a perfect low-price alternative to all of the other overpriced camera systems and apps, it just takes a little work from the developer (who doesn’t seem to touch it much).
