Thank you for making this app. It’s the most fully featured, intuitive, and flexible app I could imagine and far better than any emulation experience I’ve ever had. So easy to load the OS and to install apps and the persistent state is very helpful.
I can get the versions of Palm that I have downloaded working, except that I can't get past the setup. It asks me to tap the stylus (finger was used for this) in the top left, bottom right, then center. No matter how many times I try, I cannot get past it. If you have any way to tell me how to get past this, do tell me. Edit: I found out the solution shortly after posting this. If you're suffering the same problem, tap the emulator screen, not the graffiti board with four buttons on it's side. Other than the previously fixed problem, I can't find any other issues with the app.
Palm OS is one of the grandfathers of the technology that iOS is (inspirationally) built on, and it’s still incredibly useful in 2024, thanks to the plethora of software made for Palm OS in its heyday. Or, I dunno, you can just play Space Trader. Your call. (This review is based on the web app version, but I imagine that there aren’t any feature regressions.)
