Great potential, but squandered

This game offer no real learning. If you get it, you get it. If you don’t, there are no tutorials, no manual to decipher their color scheme on there hints, no real pedagogy at all. Of all their offerings, this one is the most frustrating in this regard as opening play is far from obvious. At least on an end game, you can understand the strategy and just have to sort out the tactics.

Remarkably useful and entertaining.

This may turn out to be my favorite of the several Chess King Apps that I picked up today (during an orgy of gratitude that such apps even exist!) Started from the beginning. Found a position on the screen. Took a second to figure out how to conveniently rewind -- then play back through -- the game, back up to the first shown position (at which a blunder had occurred). Gazed at the screen and tried to figure out how to refute the blunder. Got some feedback on my choice. Realized that going through ALL the available positions should prove to be a wonderful supplement to the tactics practice I was already starting to get from the also terrific Chess Art app. Unfortunately, my regular chess opponents will likely discover these wonderful apps someday, too.
