ChapterBuilder is an amazing software and the app is the perfect way to get your fellow members to use the platform, since it is simply an app not a complicated spreadsheet you have to teach everyone. I have personally seen great use with it and would recommend to all Greek life members.
My chapter was forced to pay a ton of money for this program. There are a lot of flaws on the app and the website that I think, if fixed, would make the whole program better and actually worth the money. 1. When admin assigns tasks to members we cannot see if they have checked them off for completion. We have to ask our members to write on an excel sheet to keep track of their assignments. 2. Each member can only score a pnm once. This is a major set back in the recruitment process as members meet pnms multiple times. Because this feature is not added into Chapter builder we have to,again, make a separate excel sheet to write all the pnm score so that the averages are accurate. 3. Scoring is only possible on the website using a computer and not available on the app. This makes it incredibly difficult between rounds and makes the scoring process that much longer. It would be more accessible if scoring could be done on the app. 4. The app and website are really glitchy. When you’re trying to scroll through 100 leads it takes forever because the program doesn’t load and will sometimes reset and take you to the top of the lead list.
