Celtic Tribes - Strategy MMO

This game is entertaining, but since yesterday I’ve been having trouble logging in. I’ve checked my connection, and it works fine. I’ve messaged the support team and have not yet received a reply since yesterday. What is happening? Edit: I've deleted, reinstalled, and deleted again, because this game is just straight up pay to win. Sure, speed up your progress of building and research and recruiting. But then you can refill your resources with just a couple thousand coins. Yet the most ridiculous mechanic is the ability to purchase villages on the map, which will be taken advantage of by people with enough money in their wallets. Stay away from this and any other game made by this developer. They're really after your money.

I thoroughly enjoy this game, I started slow before I realized you can get resources from tasks and I never knew you can raid AI villages with just a single slinger early game. I only learned how to play the game after I looked it up and found a wiki article. That’s another issue, there’s ZERO help from outside sources. People in the game don’t answer, there’s no wiki page, there’s no discord, there’s not even a Q&A. That’s not to say they don’t provide info tabs when you click the i but I spent hours trying to learn how to get horse drawn carriages and can’t find anything online

This game has a long history. It is complex and takes a very long time to build up to workable levels. After 6 years of playing this game and seeing many people come and go, it seems to me like the old timers have the responsibility to take care of the game. The management of the game is nonexistent at best. If you have troubles because of glitches or foul players, you can expect no help from them, it’s the old timers that will help. In fact management seems to make the game more difficult in order to save themselves from reporting server problems. Sweeping issues under the rug and hoping people keep using the service is a horrible way of running a business. Ever hear of “the customer is always right”? If the customer is talking to a wall it would have the same effect as complaining to the management. Your on your own unless you can make friends in a very suspicious game.
