CBS DFW Weather

ImAs a Gulf Coast native currently living in tornado country, I am grateful to have such a good app, with hour by hour forecasting and live weather radar. The meteorologists at CBS DFW are, in my opinion, the best from the four stations in the area, and I really like being able to pull up the most recent video on the app. Recently there was a banner on this app saying it was being discontinued at the end of March 2023, and users were encouraged to download the CBS DFW news app. This has a watered-down weather section, with only videos and a general forecast. The DFW viewing area is massive, and a general forecast is useless. Lately, the banner advising that the app would be shut down is gone. I'm hopeful that the many bad reviews they received on the news app has made them change their mind.

I’ve been searching for a great weather app for 20+ years. This is the best. The live radar allows real insight to what is happening NOW and exactly WHERE. The 72 hour “hourly forecast” is amazingly spot-on most of the time as is the 10 day overview. I do aerial photography, so accurate weather is very important to me. The pinpoint location feature really helps out. Try it, you’ll love it!

I check the CBS WEATHER every day to see what is going on for the day & what it looks like for the week!! I also only watch CBS NEWS. Seem to get more honest news than any of the other locals! I like Doug, Scott & Pittman on weekends. You have a great team. The reports on the COVID-19 have been spot-on!! Things we need to know. Wish we had more on Afghanistan to keep up with what is going on there. Is ISIS-K still involved or are they attacking in Iraq? What is Alquida doing? How far is the Taliban going with Americans still stuck there? Is Biden going to do anything to get our people out??? Can’t believe he pulled our forces out with our allies still stuck at the Kabul Airport & are under threat of murder. More News please!!
