CBeebies Playtime Island

This game is so nostalgic but that’s just one thing I want the old branding back. I get that they did a rebrand, but the closest thing I can get to the original version I played is putting the old app icon back with Shortcuts and yea that that works and I know that someone’s games haven’t been updated yet so they feature the old logos like the Peter Rabbit one. The fact that the blobs aren’t in the game anymore (I know they technically are but they are squares and they’re not the same) It’s kind of sad to be honest, and also the CBeebies idents aren’t good anymore BUT I love this game, even though it’s not as good as it was. I still love this game so much.

This new layout of the playtime island is horrendous the only games that are actually enjoyable are the ones that were on the old app. Personally, I think some of the games should be replaced for the more funnier ones like you have to bring back the old swashbuckle board game!!! It was perfect I loved that game and now that it’s not here I struggle to find any game that won’t bore me within 3 minutes. Also in the old version picking your vehicle to travel to the island was so memorable but now it’s gone. I get that the old app took up a lot of space but can you just recreate some of the highlights of the old version and switch it with the boring parts of this version. With this version you have to download every game before you play it, and the narrator explaining to you is quite slow and annoying and you can’t even skip it, not even kids can enjoy this app!!!

I used to have this game when I was younger and it was so good and all the games were great and I came back to see what it was like and you have completely changed it and made the minigames bad and the graphic awful. You took away all the good games and the good looking starting map and replaced them with games that look like they could have been made by a 7 year old. The main problem I have is the game was pretty much perfect before and by adding all these new updates you have downgraded all the original games to virtually unplayable compared to the amazingness the game was before. The teletubbie, muppet and swashbuckle games were iconic and perfect before but now you have turned it into funless games with graphics right out of my story animated (look it up if you don't know you plonkers). PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK IT WAS PERFECT BEFORE AND NOW IT IS DOWNRIGHT UPSETTING TO PLAY WITH ALL THE MEMORIES OF WHAT IT ONCE WAS.
