Car Camera DVR. HD dash cam

I downloaded this app to use as a dash cam on my new car. I use Apple CarPlay and this app immediately freezes when CarPlay is engaged. This basically renders the app unusable which is unfortunate because it has the functionality I’m looking for.

Actually the app takes over the phone. Doesn’t dial any numbers, just displays the phone keypad. Mutes the radio even when I tell it NOT to record audio. Like the picture, but hate that it takes over my car’s radio and shows the dial pad. So if I use it, the pad stays up and total silence.

Every time you want to record, you have to set it up. The default settings are metric and rate recoding has to be changed. Looking for a better one.
