Caption Genius for Social Apps

I’m that I found this app. It’s great for bold font as well as using alternative fonts.

This app is a poor knock off of a much better app, please don’t fall for it like I did. I was installing based on the high praise of a friend - only to find this was a CLONE of the one she was raving about!! I complained to her about issues I was having and showed her the app, we realized I’d downloaded this copy. She couldn’t believe that this app has word for word copied content from Caption Writer for Instagram!! Spaces didn’t get added, and my hashtags were deleted when I opened the app again. Immediate uninstall. I agree with the other review on here, this app is clearly just trying to copy the app Caption Writer for Instagram (they obviously changed their name to steal people looking for the real app… look at the placeholder text in their app screenshot, it’s literally taken word for word)! I don’t really know how Apple allowed this app through. Update - they responded saying they have no intention of copying another app. Seriously?! The same icon, the same name with a word or two added and even the same placeholder text on their screenshots!! This app is new and they clearly are going after people looking for the other app that’s been around. Sad that they couldn’t even come up with an original name and icon...

If you’ve visited this app, you most likely tried to search for the app Caption Writer for Instagram, the app that this one is trying, and failing, to copy! Aside from the fact that it’s obviously just trying to get money (proven by the paid ads all over the place), the app actually doesn’t do what it says it does... The spacing when trying to copy didn’t work at all (it was still formatted incorrectly when I tried to paste) and some of the hashtags I tried to use were missing.
