Cantonese by Nemo

I’ve only tried the first 100 words, but it’s a great way to learn some basic Cantonese! As a native speaker raised over seas, I was not brought up learning to read or write cantonese, but it is my heritage so wanted to learn more than a basic level of conversational fluency.... I really enjoy the flash cards- you can practice speaking and writing the characters! One note, it’s a progression so it’s made for beginners. I’m not sure how advanced it goes, but so far it’s great! Highly recommended. Thanks Nemo for creating this!

This app is perfect for beginners who want to learn the language and even for travelers who can use the search function to effectively communicate. Just start typing what you want to say and it will search through the language packs in an instant with the spken and written translation.

After five years of struggling to find any decent beginner Cantonese learning material this app is a STEAL! It has helped me find my motivation to continue learning Cantonese. It is simple, easy to use, and has exactly what I was looking for to give me a strong basic understanding of the language. The $10 price may seem high, but it is easily worth it. This app is a no brained if you're serious about learning this lovely language. I am very grateful for its creators!
