Calc Pro HD – iPad Calculator

The time and date calculator has a small bug. It correctly calculates the difference between two dates and times, but is off by one when calculating a date/time a certain number of days in the past or future. The calculation is always off by one hour. For instance, if you asked for the date/time 1 hour from Feb 2, 9:00, it will say Feb 2, 11:00. If you ask for the date/time 0 days and 0 hours away, it will say Feb 2 10:00. Other than that, this is a well done and extremely useful calculator app.

This is a fantastic all-in-one calculator. For me, who is right handed, trying to input data and see it on the white page is very difficult. My right hand covers the white page. My idea would place the white page on the left side of the screen. You could have a button for left-handed and right-hand users.

This doesn't get super fancy, but it has nearly everything I want, and it's free. One can calculate log and ln, express numbers in scientific notation, calculate nth power, nth root in addition to square and cube roots. I am a mere chemist so if you're an engineer, statistician or some heavy duty financial type, you may be better served by another app, most likely a paid one. I would have given it 5 stars but for the ads that pop up. But you can get rid of them quickly so it's not so bad.
