BusRight

For some reason, the maps have switched to using google map. There goes my privacy! BusRight needs to ditch google or fix their privacy policy to read, “We don’t collect your data but google sure does!” It changed to google a while back. Somehow I was able to change it back to Mapbox. Today, it changed back to google and I can’t figure out how to change it back again. Apparently google is sending money to BusRight in exchange for our IP addresses, our physical location details, our WiFi information, and anything else they want???

This app is so much better than the stopfinder app our district transitioned from. The app is very consistent and hasn’t crashed nor lagged since we started using it. It would be the school app of the year in my opinion, but it needs to be compatible with Apple Watch. Most of us parents aren’t walking around with our phones early in the morning, we are trying to get our kids ready for the bus. Unfortunately I have to wear a Fanny pack to keep my phone with me to get updates about the bus. Please make this app compatible with Apple Watch asap please please pretty please.

Love this app. As a busy parent it removes so much anxiety to make sure I get my kindergartener out the door on time. I only wish there was an accompanying version of the app for my Apple Watch for a quick check. Instead I find myself setting a timer as a backup when I know the estimated time to arrival on a given day.
