BUBBA Fishing

Took my new Bubba Pro on a four day trip to Mexico. Large mouth bass fishing at Coras lodge. Weighed every fish that made it in the boat. 400 total. The scale is incredible. Biggest fish, smallest fish, total weight and number of fish. Total weight was mind blowing. The app needs to fix bugs. Crashed multiple times. Lost a major portions of 2 days on the water. And why does it think I road in on my bass boat from Africa? Map feature on the iPad I liked a lot. See every catch and where it was on the lake. Keep making it better, Bubba. Overall great product.

A follow up to my post a year ago. The scale is great and the app has gotten better. I logged over 225 trips last year and recorded 2,657 fish. What would be great would be the ability to export this data. Is that possible??? The scale is great but the app could use some improvement. The “Total catches” shown for a trip does not match the actual catches. The “Total Species” is incorrect. Trips won’t save sometimes, the app crashes when trying to end a trip. Sometimes a trip ends by itself, must start a new trip. Seems like you must Autolog or manually enter catches. App gets confused on the total numbers if you do both. Data for the trip catches is different than individual catch data. If you edit one, both are not updated. Overall I like the scale and app however.

So far I have to say extremely impressed with the easy of use. The screen is really bright and easy to see indoors, but I think it will be fine outside in the bright sun. The operation of the scale is very user friendly. I have had a couple of the other common scales and I have to say thus far this is by far the most easiest user friendly and highly visible scales to date. I have not played around with the Bluetooth app much yet but from my initial impressions, it really well thought out. I think BUBBA really did a good job with ease of use!
