This app is super simple to use and absolutely essential if you have your base stations in your room, especially if your setup makes it difficult to unplug them! My only request would be to add Apple Shortcuts support so we can tell Siri to turn the base stations on or off, or at least a small new-style widget so a one-touch button can be added to my Sleep focus homepage. Edit: Thank you for the response!! So awesome to hear you’ve been working on adding Shortcuts! I’ll check it out!
It’s rare that I’m pleasantly surprised with how simple and straightforward an app is, so I’m writing my first app review in probably a decade just to praise it! I opened it, tapped the button and my base stations instantly powered off. No scanning, pairing or other setup, no navigating menus, no ads, and no unnecessarily inflated app size (could almost fit on a floppy disk!). Just open and push button! With how software design trends have been over the past few years, I almost forgot how simple things can be!
The app works exactly as advertised with my SteamVR 2.0 base stations, and no setup was required beyond opening the app. Switching the base stations off is basically instantaneous; no long delay like with SteamVR itself. The only feature I’d like to see would be 3D Touch shortcuts for the home screen to turn all base stations on or off - that’s really the only way this app could get any faster for my use case. Other than that, it’s a wonderful, simple app for a specific use case; thank you dev.
