Book Cover Maker by Desygne‪r

Hi! I just recently found this app, and it’s an overall wonderful tool for book covers. There are so many photo and font options to choose from, not to mention I’m able to manipulate the different aspects of the cover so much! But I haven’t yet been able to use any of the covers made with your app because of one problem involving the text. After saving my progress on a cover, a black highlight suddenly appears behind all of the text. This isn’t shown while working on the cover, but is still there after downloading the otherwise finished cover. The highlight overlaps some of the text in other text boxes, covers some of the background, and essentially ruins the entire cover. I’m not sure if this is some sort of setting or flaw on my end (and I just don’t know how to find and fix it) or if it might be a bug/glitch or something? Thank you so much!

I will like to start off by saying it’s a great app, and it is very helpful when it comes to making covers for my books on Wattpad. There is one problem though. Ever since the app updated a little over 2 weeks ago, it hasn’t been loading for me. I will go to open it and it would just show the title of the app, with a picture at the top of the screen, and then after about 30 seconds to a minute, it would just close the app automatically. And my internet connection doesn’t matter when it comes to this, it will do this even with a strong internet connection. I really hope you fix this because I would love to continue to use this app to make my covers for Wattpad and I would have probably given this app five stars if it wasn’t for this problem.

I use this app occasionally for my writing on Wattpad. I have scoured the internet for other alternatives to this app, but couldn’t find any easier than this. The app is quite complicated and confusing. There isn’t a tutorial to explain how to use it, so I had to figure it out myself, which took longer than I was really willing to spend. When I say I couldn’t find anything ‘easier,’ let me make it clear that this app is difficult to use, however certain alternatives I found were much worse. I think this app has lots of potential. I’ve made some book covers I think are great on this app and are worth putting on my writing, however there are several things that could make it better. 1) create a tutorial. Please. Perhaps there is one and I never found it, but I shouldn’t have to. I really think an explanation to everything could make the app so much better, and could make the experience on the app so much better too. 2) for smaller screens, like iPhone, iPod, etc, make it easier to function. When I’m zoomed in on my cover to alter the position of a photo, it’s very difficult to zoom back out without touching another photo and hurting the quality of my cover. 3) organization could be so much better. Again, the reason that I feel it is unorganized could be due to the lack in instruction, therefore everything is confusing to me and feels weird. On a better note, the app is good. I would recommend it, since I can’t find anything I’d rather use at the moment, but certain changes would make the app so much more better. Thank you! -Myth
