Stupid Developer make stupid App， the online open account feature is a completely disaster！ The App will tell you to keep close the ID card once you put the ID closer to the camera the photo became unclear， and it doesn't auto adjust the lence！！

This is easily the most dumb and stupid App I ever use. Don’t get me wrong, I believe the app developers are perfectly capable, but the app and procedure are just dumb and unusable. After updating my mobile token was made invalid, to reset, I need to take a photo of my HKID under their rather sketchy privacy policy — who use “Artificial Intelligence” as the method to analyze data on their privacy policy? It appears to me they don’t know what they are doing and just what to use some hyped (now out of dates) words without disclosing any details. Then they perform a facial recognition which requires you remove your glasses and follow the instructions that are written in small font face on screen, I’m short-sighted, and whenever I move close to the screen to read what this dumb procedure want me to do, it became “please move away from the screen.” Among all the HK/US/UK/JP based banks I had a relationship with, this IS the dumbest thing that a bank ever done. I won’t be banking with BOCHK anymore.
